Run a review

How to run a content review of a base.

Prerequisite

Cloud mode with an organization and the Cloud plan (or Enterprise where agreed). Single and Professional do not offer Review.

Start a review

1. Open the base in the cloud.
2. In the sidebar under Baselines, choose Review.
3. Click Start review.
4. Enter:
   • title
   • reason / occasion
   • participants (as many as needed); mark at least one person as reviewer
   • optionally planned start and end dates and extra notes
5. Confirm with Start review.

The base enters Review mode. In the block view, schema and entry content are write-protected through the working UI.

Check entries

1. Open a block and an entry (for example by double-click).
2. Set a review status, for example:
   • OK
   • Clarification needed
   • Error
   • Not checked
3. Add an optional comment.
4. Save the review fields.

Once a status is set, the entry counts as checked. Checked items appear on the Review page; you can filter open items.

Pause and resume

• Pause temporarily lifts write protection in the block view so you can work again in Model or Maintain data mode.
• Resume continues the review and locks schema and entry content again.

Complete the review

1. Open the Review page.
2. Choose Complete.
3. Optionally add a summary.
4. Finalize the report.

The review report is then immutable and remains auditable in the organization. Previous reviews for the same base are listed on the Review page (history, not a base version bump).

Tips

• Agree who participates and who reviews before you start.
• Use the open-items filter before completing.
• Review does not replace a Baseline: mark a baseline when you need a binding full state.
