Self-reference points to the parent entry in the same block (at most one). No target block needed.

Section titled “When modeling”- Open a block and switch to Model mode.
- Add a column and choose type Self-reference.
- Set the name; optionally configure required and other options.
When maintaining data
Section titled “When maintaining data”- Switch to Maintain data mode.
- Open an entry or edit in the table.
- Enter the value (example: “Requirement REQ-0001”).
