Working state
The working state is the editable current state of a base.
All changes to blocks, columns, entries, relations, and views land here first. It answers: What applies right now?
Local and team
Section titled “Local and team”- Locally you work on the working state on your device.
- In team or cloud mode you can load the shared state and share your working state with Push.
- Push updates the team state – but does not set a Baseline.
Relationship to a baseline
Section titled “Relationship to a baseline”- The working state is changeable.
- A baseline is an immutable full state at a point in time.
- Between two baselines (or since the last baseline), Baseline can show the business changes.
Work modes
Section titled “Work modes”In the working state, work modes control what you may edit — with one shared data model and one block view:
- Model — edit the schema; data entry locked
- Maintain data — edit entries; schema panel hidden
- Review — content check (Cloud only; see Review)
